Local celebrities perform

The Valley's very own Cod Gone Wild along with the Okanagan Celtic Choir will hit the stage next Sunday in Vernon.

The performance will take place at the Caetani Cultural Centre from 2 to 4 p.m.

Cod Gone Wild is a Celtic inspired band 'focused on giving traditional music a modern edge.'

The band has performed from San Francisco to Newfoundland, playing an average of 100 shows a year.

Cod Gone Wild is known for their charismatic energy, amazing vocal harmonies and their superior lights and sound production, the band delivers an entertaining show that keeps people coming back for more.

The audience on Sept. 30 is asked to bring blankets, folding chairs, and a picnic while enjoying a relaxing afternoon of music.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Admission is by donation, $10 is the recommended donation for adults, $5 for Caetani members and kids.

Proceeds go directly to the artists and to programs and events at the centre.

Parking is not available at the Caetani Centre during events and patrons are asked to park off-site in approved parking zones, and to respect neighbours by not blocking driveways.
