DriveBC reports the Trans-Canada Highway has reopened west of Revelstoke.

Expect delays due to heavy congestion.

ORIGINAL: 6:20 a.m.

If you're planning on heading east on the Trans-Canada Highway, best wait until later in the morning.

Highway 1 is closed in both directions 25 kilometres west of Revelstoke because of a vehicle Incident. There is no detour available at this time, crews are on scene now assessing the situation.

The highway is expected to remain closed until at least 9 a.m.
