Another hour, another crash on Highway 33.

After one collision at the Highway 97 and Highway 33 junction this afternoon, another smash-up briefly tied up traffic at Highway 33 and Loseth Road, in the Black Mountain area.

The collision between a Nissan Titan pickup and a family sedan heavily damaged the passenger side of the smaller vehicle.

It's not known if there were any injuries, but firefighters, police and paramedics were on the scene.

Collision at major intersection in Kelowna.

UPDATE: 2:20 p.m.

Traffic appears to be moving again after a collision blocked the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 33.

ORIGINAL: 1:15 p.m.

A collision involving a pickup and car is blocking a busy highway intersection in Kelowna.

The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. at Highway 97 and Highway 33.

Witnesses at the scene say traffic is down to a single lane southbound.

It's not clear what caused the collision or if any injuries were sustained.

Emergency vehicles are on the scene.
