Police are investigating a report of a young man who exposed himself to a woman on the Hike and Bike trail in Oliver this morning.

RCMP say the incident took place near the Oliver skatepark at about 10 a.m. Thursday. The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, about five-foot-10 with dark brown well-groomed curly hair, a light complexion and athletic build. He was wearing a blue-grey t-shirt and checkered blue shorts.

“Oliver detachment received two similar complaints in 2017 and it is believed that all these incidents are related,” Cpl. Christina Tarasoff said in a news release. “The suspect appears to be targeting adult females and is non-aggressive.”

RCMP say they are dedicating extra patrols to the area until the suspect is identified.
