A four-month-old child is in hospital with unspecified injuries after a pickup drove into the basement of a Surrey house Wednesday night.
RCMP say the truck smashed through a wall of the house on Alexandria Crescent about 9:30 p.m.
The baby was sleeping in the back of the home when the pickup crashed through a fence and hit the home, leaving the child pinned.
RCMP say evidence was being gathered at the scene and that the investigation was in the early stages.
The 57-year-old driver of the vehicle was taken into custody.
