Old Kaleden Road runs along Skaha Lake between Kaleden and OK Falls.
The Penticton RCMP is investigating a robbery overnight south of Kaleden on a rural road.
A couple sleeping in a moving van on Old Kaleden Road was awoken last night at 11:30 p.m. by a man banging on their windows demanding their valuables, telling them he had a gun.
“The couple complied and gave the man their credit cards,” Const. James Grandy said. “The man then smashed the van’s window and punctured two tires before he departed.”
The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, brown eyes, five-foot-10 and was wearing a balaclava. He may have had an accent and drove a full-sized black pickup truck.
