A two-vehicle collision on the Bennett Bridge has slowed the morning commute into Kelowna.

Traffic is backed up around the corner and up Bridge Hill, into Westbank First Nation lands and West Kelowna.

There's no word on the cause of the crash, but it does appear serious in nature, one motorist told Castanet.

Traffic was flowing freely again after about half an hour.
