It’s almost time for the Fair at the PNE.
 
The annual fair opens the gates on Saturday at the Pacific National Exhibition grounds in East Vancouver. The agricultural fair is of course accompanied by fantastic fair food, exhibitions, and Summer Night Concerts. And don't forget the midway at Playland.

The 15-day fair attracts more than three million visitors a year to Hastings Park.

Free concerts included with admission include performances by Boyz II Men, Chicago, Dean Brody, Goo Goo Dolls, retro 80s and 90s tours, Marianas Trench and more.

Featured interactive exhibits include the Street of Dreams, POPnology, Knights of Valour, and the Action Sports World Tour.

Admission is $18 for adults, $9 for seniors and kids are free. But you can get in for a toonie between 11 and 1 on Saturday and Sunday, just by wearing your favourite team's sports jersey or favourite concert T-shirt. And, everyone gets in free Aug. 21 and 28, sponsored by Vancouver International Airport.
