Goode's Creek at 577 ha

A wildfire burning on Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park is now at an estimated 577 hectares in size.

BC Wildfire Service says the interface fire called Goode’s Creek grew slightly on Monday.

Over 20 firefighters were battling the blaze on Monday, which was ignited by lightning on the night of July 17.

Fire crews focus on extinguishing hot spots on the southeast flank.

Two other small wildfires are burning on Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park.

One fire is near paradise ranch is estimated at 55 hectares and started on Thursday. A 25 hectare wildfire is also burning near Glenfir Road and was sparked on July 17.
