Vernon, Salmon Arm and Kelowna are three of the 27 courthouses across the province that now has high-speed Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi access is designed to provide "defence and civil counsel, and self-represented litigants" better access to public networks to support court activities.
It can be accessed with any Wi-Fi enabled device within the confines of a court location.
Court rules around recording, filming, photography and cell phone use remain unchanged.
