No smear, just facts

A smear campaign against Dan Albas? I think not.

Letters published in support of Stephen Fuhr, MP for Kelowna-Lake Country, have corrected the misinformation being circulated by Conservatives or those not doing their homework. 

Check your numbers and facts. The pipeline is estimated at $4.5 billion, not $45 billion. Today, we have the fastest growing economy in the G7 and the lowest debt to GDP ratio. Job training and support for all employment has increased for non-partisan organizations. Veterans are better off compared with suffering caused by the Harper government which shut down VA offices and left them in need. Compare this to the Liberals reopening 10 VA offices and adding another. 

My relative who is on a Veteran’s disability pension can attest to the lack of support by the previous Conservative government versus the Liberal Government. Or, if you can look beyond party lines, ask Fuhr, who rose to the rank of Major and currently leads a bi-partisan defence committee. 

As someone who has supported different political parties, I’ve noticed misleading attack ads directed against Fuhr paid for by the Conservative Party on Facebook coupled with opinion pieces by Albas attacking every position the Liberals have taken with few solutions of his own. Review Albas’ record. During the last budget, he voted against every line item including support for our Veterans, seniors, families, and economy to push a partisan Conservative agenda spending taxpayer money on useless overtime in Parliament. 

In just two and a half years, Fuhr has brought economic growth to the Okanagan, much-needed projects, and shown an exemplary ability to bring people together regardless of a constituents’ personal political stripes. He’s making an incredible impact. Personally, I’ll continue to speak up and support his efforts using factual evidence. I recommend you try to do the same.
