Hockey stars from across the globe, local celebrities and Canadian PGA golf professionals will tee off together next weekend for a great cause.
The Okanagan Charity Classic is back in its fourth year.
With NHL stars like Shea Weber, Justin Schultz, James Reimer, Scott Hartnell and Brayden Schenn, the OCC has raised $246,404 in its first three years.
Proceeds from the 2018 Charity Classic will continue to be donated to assisting underprivileged children to play in organized sports.
"After the passing of Brent “Moon” Mullin, an influential person in our golf community, the OCC will be donating funds to his foundation. Shoot for the “Moon” Foundation was starting to assist in kids playing sport without financial limitations. We look forward to raising money in Brent’s honor," Organizer Patrick Sullivan wrote.
The OCC Kick-Off Party will be Friday, July 13, 7 p.m. at August Luxury Motorcars and Saturday, July 14 1 p.m. at Black Mountain Golf Club.
