ORIGINAL: 11:42 a.m.

A water quality advisory has been issued in Lake Country due to the overnight storm.

Due to a power outage following the storm, customers using the Okanagan Lake source have been changed over to an emergency water supply from the Beaver Lake.

"Customers on the Okanagan Lake water supply are now on a  Water Quality Advisory," stated Patti Meger from the District of Lake Country.  "Although turbidity is currently less than 1NTU on the Beaver Lake source, this source has fluctuating turbidity and remains on an advisory."

The supply is only temporary and the District hopes to be back on the Okanagan Lake source as soon as power is restored.
