Guns, drugs, cash seized

Guns, drugs and cash were seized in a Kelowna drug raid.

RCMP arrested three people following an in-depth investigation by the Kelowna Street Enforcement Unit.

Multiple firearms, cash and a quantity of drugs were seized at a home on the 1200 block of Belaire Avenue June 19.

Police confiscated a significant amount of cash and large amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, psilocybin and methamphetamine. They also seized five long guns, a sawed off shotgun and 16 hand guns.

Most of the weapons were identified as stolen from Penticton.

Four high-end bicycles were also located and believed to have been stolen.

A 38-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were arrested during the investigation, and a 33-year-old man "well known to police and affiliated to an organized crime group" was arrested at the scene of the search warrant.

All three are scheduled to appear in court in September.
