A BC ferries passenger was rescued near Bowen Island Tuesday morning after going overboard.
BC Ferries says a rescue boat was deployed to retrieve the man after he went into the water during the 8:45 a.m. sailing of the Queen of Cowichan between Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver and Departure Bay in Nanaimo.
The man did not suffer serious injuries, but was cold, a Ferries spokesperson said.
A Coast Guard hovercraft was also sent to the scene.
It's not yet known how the man ended up in the water.
The incident delayed the voyage by about an hour.
