A Kelowna man captured a driver speeding excessively heading south over the William R. Bennett Bridge into West Kelowna on Saturday evening.

The man who asked to remain unidentified says he 'personally witnessed the car tearing through a neighbourhood in West Kelowna minutes later."

He says the car appeared to make its way over the bridge at a dangerously fast speed of about 140 to 160 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone.

The man captured the footage through his dash cam at 7:30 p.m.

The white BMW with black rims then ripped through a West Kelowna residential neighbourhood going about 100 kilometres an hour, according to the man who captured the video.

It's unknown if the driver has been caught or ticketed by RCMP.
