Castanet has been contacted by Vicky Tagliaferro Scicluna, asking one of our Senior Marketing Consultants, Claire Telford, whether we could help her and 3 others sell a brand new Boeing 737-800 valued at 50 million Euros.

Telford responded to the unusual request with a follow-up email, "thank you for your email regarding the Boeing.  Are you serious about your inquiry?  I have discussed this with our Editor and he would like to perhaps do a news story on this.  If you could let me know it would be greatly appreciated."

Tagliaferro Scicluna responded with, "hello Claire... yes It's true (sic) same happened to me when they came asking us to help them to sell this plane. I thought it was a joke..."

Turns out the offer is for real and the sellers started with three Boeings in all, two of them were sold but not the third one. So now they have resorted to creative methods and of course, the price has been slashed in half for a quick sale!
 
"We are a group of 4 people trying to sell this plane and there are 2 million and a half Euro in commission to be shared when the plane is sold...They are asking €50 million for this brand new Boeing 737-800," says Tagliaferro Scicluna.
