Bull riders to Prospera

Madison Erhardt

For the first time in league history, Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Monster Energy Tour will take over Prospera Place for a night that will leave you on the edge of your seat all evening long.

This event marks the tour’s first trip to Kelowna. PBR Canada visited the Okanagan last season with the Touring Pro Division.

Current Canadian Number one Brock Radford won the stop, his second of a historic four consecutive event victories which helped earn him his debut on the sport’s premier tour in the United States.

"For the people that weren't there last year we are going to bring some of our best bucking bulls we have in the country and match them up with some of the best bull riders in the entire world," said Operations Manager, Jason Davidson.

Alberta-native, and reigning PBR Canada Champion Zane Lambert is expected to compete on the tour.
He made his come-from-behind surge on the final night of the 2017 PBR Canada Finals to surpass Radford and claim his second national title.

"I always like to say it's the ultimate contest of man verses beast and I'm hoping some of these riders can step up and take some of these championships away from the beast," Davidson added.

PBR will be at Prospera Place in Kelowna on Saturday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m.
