A warning from Surrey RCMP after an alleged sexual assault over the long weekend.
Police say the alleged assault occurred at Tannery Park in Surrey between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Monday.
A woman says she was asleep in her vehicle when a man entered the vehicle and sexually assaulted her. She was able to honk her car horn, scaring the suspect off.
The man is described as:
- Caucasian
- 50 to 60 years of age
- Medium build
- Balding with white hair curling at the ends
- Patchy facial stubble
Police say he is associated with an older model red car.
