Highway 97 is bumper-to-bumper as commuters try and navigate around town this long weekend.

"Highway 97 from West Kelowna to Kelowna is backed up as far as the eye can see," a Castanet viewer wrote in. 

"A city truck was on the bridge with its arrow light on. It's only a single lane of traffic going through at a snail’s pace," they added. 

With the heavy flow of traffic commuters should leave ample time to get to their destination.
