Search ongoing for Thiffault

Kelowna RCMP have renewed a plea for public assistance in the search for a missing man.

Martin J. Thiffault has not been seen, or heard from, since April 19. A missing person's file was opened April 24.

Police have followed up on several tips, so far to no avail.

"It has been nearly one month since Mr. Thiffault was last seen and Kelowna RCMP’s Missing Person Coordinator continues to actively investigate his disappearance,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

“It is very uncommon for Martin to be out of contact with his family or friends for this amount of time and we are, of course, concerned for his well-being.”

He is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 48 years
  • 5 ft 6 in (168 cm)
  • 157 lbs (71 kg)
  • Brown hair
  • Brown goatee
  • Hazel eyes
