Kris Jenner has revealed the name Khloe Kardashian has chosen for her daughter, True, runs in her family.
The reality star hit headlines when she announced the name she and Tristan Thompson had chosen for their baby girl, with the news coming just days after the sportsman was accused of cheating on her with multiple women throughout her pregnancy. While many assumed the name choice was a reference to the alleged infidelity, and perhaps Khloe's decision to stand by her man, Khloe's mother Kris later took to Instagram to set the record straight about the origin of the title.
"I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton....my Dad's name was Robert True Houghton...so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family," Kris wrote, mentioning an account called @true, which has yet to post anything but is registered under the name True Thompson.
Khloe announced her daughter's name in her first social media post since the Tristan cheating scandal broke. She has yet to publicly reference the alleged infidelities, but sources close to the new mother have said she's still "very bitter" about the rumours.
"She still can't believe what happened earlier this week" She is very bitter about it," a source told People.com. As for whether she will stay with Tristan, the insider added: "Khloe is not going to be making a firm decision one way or the other just yet. She is concentrating on the baby. The baby deserves that, and Khloe is focusing on being a mom and this early bonding experience. That applies to Tristan bonding with his daughter as well. As for her relationship with Tristan, she'll look at next steps when she's ready."
The 33-year-old is being supported by her nearest and dearest throughout this whirlwind period of her life, with sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner seen arriving in Cleveland, where Khloe gave birth to True, on Monday.
