A home surveillance camera captured a touching moment with a young hockey player.
Victoria Heaney posted the 23-second video to Twitter, Wednesday, and it has since been viewed more than 120,000 times.
The family placed hockey sticks on their Brooklin, Ont., doorstep in tribute to the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, and the video captures her 12-year-old brother Matthew picking up a stick, doing some imaginary puck handling and then kissing the stick before putting it back.
“Watch until the end, heartbreaking,” said his sister.
Matthew, a right winger for the Durham Crusaders, has played hockey since he was five years old.
My family left a hockey stick on our porch for the humboldt broncos, and our ring doorbell caught this video of my little brother looking at the stick when he came home from school. Watch until the end, heartbreaking. #humboldtstrong pic.twitter.com/6I9Zu6gF9V
