Some lunch-goers in downtown Vernon gathered around to watch a police incident. 

Several RCMP cruisers were parked along 30th Avenue. and 33rd Street.

One officer explained police were attending to someone having some "personal issues."

There was no cause for concern to the public. 

The incident, however, attracted a lot of attention from people passing by.
