Accidents keep crews busy

Last night's snowfall kept emergency crews busy with numerous accidents up and down the Valley.

While there was no word of any serious injuries, the crashes kept coming Saturday morning.

In the North Okanagan, emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle roll over in Spallumcheen.

Witness Davis Schaus said it doesn't appear anyone was injured in the accident that happened north of Mountain View Road on Highway 97.

Friday in Kelowna a driver lost control of their vehicle and rammed into a home on Clifton Avenue. A head on collision was also reported in the South Okanagan.

However, the worst may be over.

Environment Canada is calling for warmer temperatures starting today with only a chance of flurries.

But a snowfall warning is in place for the Coquihalla which is expected to get up to 20 cm of the white stuff between Merritt and Hope.
