Police responded to a landlord-tenant dispute involving threats of violence, with one of them brandishing a machete, at a Kelowna home Monday night.

A 54-year-old man was arrested about 10 p.m. at a residence on the 1300 block of Rutland Road.

At least four police vehicles were witnessed at the scene.

No one was injured in the incident, and both men were known to each other.

The 54-year-old Kelowna man was released and is expected to make a court appearance in April.
