Two charges of assault are being recommended against a 63-year-old man after he allegedly pulled a woman's hair and spit on a police officer.
Salmon Arm RCMP were called to an adult education centre Jan. 18, after the man refused to leave when asked.
It is alleged he had assaulted a 48-year-old female employee by pulling on her hair.
He was arrested and removed from the site.
However, while being processed back at the RCMP detachment he assaulted an officer by spitting on them.
The man was released, only after he calmed down.
He is to appear in court in April.
"It is important to note that at no time were children involved or victimized in this incident as it did not occur at a public or private grade school facility," stated Salmon Arm RCMP.
