Police seek B&E suspect

Police in Kamloops are asking for the public's help tracking down the suspect of a break and enter with a weapon that occurred in the early hours on Tuesday.

Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at 2:15 a.m. in an apartment on Arrowstone Drive.

Police said the male suspect broke the window of the ground-floor unit and entered the male victim's bedroom, before threatening him with a knife to hand over valuables. 

A laptop, cell phone and the victim's wallet were stolen by the suspect. The victim was not physically hurt.

The suspect is described by police as being about 25 years old. He is about six feet tall with a thin build and dark skin. His weapon was described as a Bowie knife with a wooden handle.

Those with information are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
