The City of Penticton is seeking four community members to participate in a committee on the city’s 2018 utility rate review.

The review will examine current and future charges for electricity, sewer and water.

Of particular interest, the city is looking for people representing the interests of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural utility users. Those with accounting and finance backgrounds are also sought.

The project is expected to span four meetings from Jan. 23 to July 17, 2018, plus participation at public engagement sessions.

The committee will focus on a variety of areas including administration fees, purchase costs, capital investments and more.
