A crash that closed the Crowsnest Highway near Midway in both directions has now been cleared, Drive B.C. reports.
The collision reportedly occurred at about 6 a.m., about two kilometres east of Midway, between a logging truck and a pickup truck.
The condition of the occupants in the vehicles involved in currently unknown.
UPDATE: 2:15 p.m.
Drive B.C. reports that the Crowsnest Highway near Midway could reopen at 4 p.m.
The section of the highway, two kilometres east of the West Kootenay town, has been closed since approximately 6 a.m. due to a vehicle incident.
A detour is available to motorists through Midway.

Getting reports from a Castanet reader that there has been a serious MVI near Midway this morning.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. when a logging truck and pick up truck collided.
DriveBC says Highway 3 is closed in both directions. No word when it will re-open.
There is a detour through Midway.
