The City of Vernon made more than $1 million from parking fees in the first nine months of the year.
The City of Vernon made more than $1 million in parking fees from residents during the first nine months of the year.
A report to city council on Monday shows $1,044,333 was made from Jan. 2 to Sept. 30th, 2017.
The amount is just over $57,000 higher than the cash collected during the same time the year before.
The figure includes cash collected at metered parking spots, in the parkade, parking lot rentals and via pay-by-phone.
