A Chilliwack school trustee who apologized just a month ago for comments about allowing children to choose their gender has done it again.

Barry Neufeld repeated his allegation that allowing such decisions amounts to child abuse at a rally Tuesday night.

The rally, organized by a "community values and parental rights" group was held to "thank" Neufeld for his views.

It also protested B.C. schools' sexual orientation and gender identity program, which supports LGBTQ students.

Neufeld claims the program enables "dysfunctional behaviour and thinking patterns."
