Mild week ahead

Winter was out in full force last week, but over the next few days the Okanagan will see milder temperatures. 

Monday evening the Valley will cool off slightly with a high of 5 C. Southerly wind is expected to gust up to 70  km/h near West Kelowna and Peachland early this evening. 

Tuesday, Environment Canada forecasts a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 7 C. Showers are expected across the Okanagan by noon. 

Wednesday, and Thursday will see a high of 5 C, with 70 per cent chance of rain or flurries and a low of zero.

A 60 per cent chance of showers is expected on Friday with a high plus 5.

The trend of showers will continue over the weekend. 

Rain is in the forecast off and on all day on Saturday, but Sunday will will see some reprieve with no showers expected and a high of 5 C.
