Country star Brantley Gilbert will perform at Kelowna's Prospera Place on March 9.

Gilbert brings his The Ones That Like Me tour to town with guests Tim Hicks and Josh Phillips.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Select Your Tickets or charge by phone at 250-762-5050.

Prices (incl. GST) are $39.50, $59.50, and $65 (plus service charges).

Billboard magazine said of the Georgia songwriter: “Brantley Gilbert knows his audience. With a pair of platinum albums and nine of his singles being certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum, Gilbert’s music strikes a chord with people.”

“It's a chance for me to get together with all the people out there who get this music, who believe in these songs and live their lives just like the people back home do," says Gilbert.

“I say every album is a chapter of my life. It’s real, even when it’s simple – because life is pretty simple, even when it’s rough." 

Gilbert's The Devil Don’t Sleep debuted at No. 1, and his Just As I Am won the 2014 American Music Awards Favorite Country Album.

Gilbert also makes tour stops in Edmonton March 7, Calgary March 8, and Abbotsford on March 10.
