BC Transit and local governments are looking for feedback on further transit expansion in the Glenmore area.

A series of four open houses are planned next week around the city to hear your thoughts on two proposed options to better connect Glenmore with key areas of the city beginning in the fall of next year.

The proposed expansion will coincide with the completion of the John Hindle Drive extension in the spring of 2018.

The John Hindle Drive extension will connect Highway 97 to Glenmore Road at the UBC Okanagan Campus, providing alternate routing options for transit services.

The open houses are scheduled Wednesday, Oct. 25 at UBCO starting at 11 a.m. and the Kane Road IGA at 3:30 p.m., and the following day at Okanagan College at 11 a.m. and Orchard Park Shopping Centre at 3:30.
