An excavator worth almost $20,000 was stolen from a construction site last week in Okanagan Falls, according to Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth.  

The yellow Komatsu excavator was stolen from a winery construction site either late Sept. 20 or early Sept. 21. 

The excavator has unique tracks because they are steel with plastic pads making them concrete friendly, according to Penticton RCMP. 

"Freedom Excavation" and the number 250-490-7280 is on the back of the machine. It has a license plate bearing P3C 6R-8.
