Shots fired in Surrey

Surrey RCMP are at the scene of two shots fired incidents in the city.

At approximately 5:10 a.m. Sunday, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired on the 8400 block of 121A Street.  No victims were located.  

Eleven minutes later, police officers responded to a second report of shots fired. This time, the incident took place on the 4700 block of 30th Avenue. Again, no victims were located.

“Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information,” said Staff Sgt. M. A. Hedderson. “The investigation is still in its early stages.”
