Need a job? Kelowna Community Resources’ job fair is the place to be this Friday.
The job fair will be held at 620 Leon Ave., from 1 to 4 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for local job seekers to meet with employers and showcase their talents. In today’s job market, face-to-face meetings with employers are becoming rare, which is why these types of events are so important,” said Travis Schneider, KCR employment services manager.
Attendees are reminded to bring their resumes. There will be a number of employers present, with some excellent job opportunities.
KCR offers free training programs to help those in need.
“We had great attendance at the last fair back in June, and we have eight employers in a variety of industries for our fall fair,” said Schneider.
