Hwy 3 reopened

DriveBC reports the scene has been cleared and the highway has fully reopened.


UPDATE: 3:40 p.m.

Highway 3 has been reopened to single-lane, alternating traffic, 15 kilometres west of Grand Forks, according to DriveBC.

The section of roadway was closed in both directions for about four hours, following a reported single-vehicle accident, late Thursday morning. 


UPDATE: 12:50 p.m.

Highway 3 is expected to be closed until 3:30 p.m., 15 kilometres west of Grand Forks, after a reported single-vehicle roll-over late Thursday morning.

DriveBC said there are no detours available, and motorists should expect lengthy delays travelling through the area.

There is no confirmation of injuries at this point.

Highway 3 is closed in both directions, 15 kilometres west of Grand Forks due to a vehicle incident.

DriveBC is advising motorists to expect heavy delays.
