The fourth annual Kettle Mettle Gravel Road Cycling Fondo will take place on Saturday on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. 

The event starts in Penticton's Okanagan Lake Park, featuring amazing scenery for cyclists on the route to Kelowna. 

Athletes have a choice to enter the 50 km, 100 km or 120+ km races, with all competitions finishing at East Kelowna Park.

Following the race, there will be a post ride evening event held in Kelowna.  

"We are trying to put affordability and FUN back into Fondo cycling events. So this is more of a FUNDO Cycling event," according to the event website. 

The cost to compete is $35, or $45 if participants sign up the day of the event.

The race will start at 8:00 a.m. sharp on Sept. 23 at Okanagan Lake Park.
