A flight from Comox on Vancouver Island made an emergency landing at Vancouver Monday night after being struck by lightning.

The Pacific Coastal Airlines flight was met by fire trucks and ambulances when it landed just before 8 p.m.

Some damage was visible on the plane, although the airline has yet to comment on the incident.

Some passengers told CTV they were terrified, but no one was injured.
