The second fittest man in the world lives right here in Kelowna. 

Brent Fikowski placed second in the 2017 Crossfit Reebok games. 

Fikowski said it's extremely hard just to get to the games. 

"To get to the Crossfit games is pretty difficult. We run, swim, lift heavy weights, and perform gymnastic movements. We do all these crazy movements to see who is really fit," Fikowski said. 

You would think the second fittest man alive would only eat, breathe and sleep Crossfit, but Fikowski does it all while balancing a full time job at Straw House, in Kelowna. 

" I will wakeup and train and then I come to work and then I'll go home and train again. All weekend I will be out of the house with a big cooler full of food," he said. 

The Crossfitter uses all that Kelowna has to offer for his intense training. 

"I bike and run up Knox Mountain a lot. There are also quite a few trails I have found this summer," Fikowski added.
