A local collector has been publishing a series of fascinating historic Penticton postcards online.
Alan Warren has been collecting postcards for more than 30 years, and moved to the Penticton from the U.K. in 2012.
He has around 4,000 physical postcards from around the world, but came across close to 200 Penticton cards recently online.
He acquired the digital copies, and put them together for a presentation he did for the Penticton Newcomers Club, “which went over quite well.”
He recently started posting them to Facebook, with many garnering hundreds of “likes” and shares through the Penticton Facebook Group.
He says the most popular one so far is of the former Okanagan Game Farm in Kaleden.
