Good Girl Gone Bad

The Okanagan Tattoo Show begins this evening and will run for the entire weekend.

115 tattoo artists from across Canada and some from Mexico will all gather at the Kelowna Curling Club.

There are six famous artists being featured, one of them being Damian Robertson from Calgary who is also raising funds and awareness for the PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

A new Brewfest will also be featuring nine breweries from B.C., so you can enjoy a beer while you listen to music.

Simps Syrups will be there also and you know them from my article a couple weeks ago. They will be having their new Caesar mix with a Back Porch Dill Pickle Vodka.

The Good Girl Gone Bad Pin Up Pageant that all the boys and girls have been waiting for is finally here and happening Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. at the Tattoo Show.

There will be eight ladies competing for this year’s title. With names like Foxy Momma, Cherry Bomb and Lady Chardonnay, I’m sure it will be a great show.

If you don’t know pin ups, know that there is a lot of work that goes into this underground culture.

Simon Shaw will be launching Bean Counter 2.0 this Thursday at the Kelowna Yacht Club.

Bean Cruncher is custom accounting software that can create unique solutions for businesses that need to track work in the field, inventory, sales and the usual day-to-day accounting tasks.

Simon is a chartered accountant who has been programming since 1982. He has been building business software for a long time.

Any business big enough to have an accountant on staff will benefit from Bean Cruncher

On Wednesday at 3 p.m., Wild Rebel Rose Spa will be having their grand opening of their new spa location.

Erin is so excited to share this long awaited moment with everyone. She has organized wine, shopping, door prizes and exclusive package deals for you.

Even though she is known for her quick brazillian and brozillian waxes, I am told that the hot bamboo massage is the best.

On Saturday, the Kelowna Crafters Market is having their annual Cherry Festival at the Dilworth and Springfield location.

You will be able to participate in games such as the famous cherry spitting, name the cherries, or guess how many cherries in the cherry jar and win some market dollars.

There will be a kids zone too with a colouring booth, bouncy castle, face painting and great music for all to enjoy.

I will see you there right after I come from the downtown market. I love having those streets blocked off.

Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson of Kelowna knows that there is no better way to spend a hot, summer day then watching freestyle rider Ryan Hawco and his team putting on a show.

There will also be music, barbecue, bike wash and beverages (if you know what I mean). Plus the wicked burnout competition will be in the back parking lot. You gotta see that.

Thank you to all of you for making comments about missing my video blog and it has only been gone for a week. You really know how to make a guy feel special.

It is not over; I am just taking a break for the summer. I will be back with more financial education and a lot more Okanagan adventures.

Make it a great week!
