A landslide has washed out a road near Summerland.

A landslide has washed out a beachfront road in Summerland.

The slide occurred Thursday evening, and covered Lakeshore Drive North, just north of Summerland by Crescent Beach.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the slide, but police are on scene.

People are reportedly stuck on the north side of the slide, as the road comes to a dead end at its north end.
