A child is doing well after lifeguards dived into action this week.
The City of Kamloops says a child may have experienced a medical incident during a public swim session Wednesday at the Canada Games Pool.
"The on-duty lifeguards responded quickly and looked after the child until ambulances arrived and paramedics transported the child to Royal Inland Hospital," said the city in a statement.
"Staff followed up with the family today and were advised that the child had been released from the hospital and is doing well."
