Unsolved crimes: West Kel

CRIME:  BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:    March 18, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-13270

Sometime during the day, suspects entered a home on the 1000 block of Ogden Road while the owner and his visiting family were away.  Entry was made through a kitchen window.  Food was strewn on the floor and the rest of the home was ransacked. Jewellery and other items had been left on the couch and all the bedrooms were gone through. Some of the stolen items include:  gold jewellery including a watch, rings (some with birthstones), gold chains, earrings and pearl necklaces.  One of the gold necklaces is a V-shaped gold pendant with 5 large birthstones including two aquamarine stones and one garnet.  Also taken was a 13’silver MacBook Pro OS Sierra (s/n unavailable).

CRIME:  THEFT OF TRAILER

DATE:    March 19, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-13399

A trailer was stolen from a residence on Trevor Drive in West Kelowna sometime overnight between March 18th and March 19th.  The trailer is a 22’ 2016 C-Jay white commercial box trailer wrapped with company logo “ThorCorp”.  The trailer has BC license plate number 30621U and VIN 2JAAH7724G1003521.
