Meet Beau - Your New Best Friend
Beau is a charming, scruffy gentleman with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. Friendly and affectionate, he adores people and thrives on companionship. While he's still getting used to life indoors, Beau is eager to learn and would do best with someone who is home often to help guide him into this next, more comfortable chapter of his life.
He's previously lived with children and other dogs, and his calm nature makes him a wonderful companion for respectful kids and polite canine friends (with proper introductions). However, Beau is past the age of roughhousing-he prefers gentle affection and peaceful company. He has not lived with cats and has been known to to chase, so a feline-free home would be best.
Beau has also spent time around cows and horses, showing his adaptable nature. On leash, he walks beautifully and generally has good manners, though he has a playful side too-shoelaces beware!
Due to spending long hours alone in the past, Beau developed a habit of chasing his tail, which has caused some damage. His tail will need ongoing care and management as it heals, but with the right environment and attention, he'll continue to improve.
Right now, Beau may look a little rough around the edges, but there's a majestic and handsome dog just waiting to shine through. All he needs is a patient, loving home to help him blossom.
Could you be the one to show Beau what it means to be truly loved?
Please fill out the application (linked below) if you are interested in adopting Beau and would like to know more about him!
