The music is the focus here, as it should be. Scott's incredible and sparse, but lavishly folk compositions create a landscape in the mind - one whose structures are emotional and alive. Recently, Brandon won the CBC Radio songwriting contest prize for his composition, 'Sleepin By Her Side'. Along with this, he has also been a featured artist on North by Northwest and CBC's Sunday morning show. In addition, Scott has opened for Patrick Watson, Matthew Barber, Juno Award-winner Ken Hamm, Dan Mangan, Kevin Kane (The Grapes of Wrath) Cara Luft, David Miles, Jill Barber, Old Man Luedecke and many more. Brandon tours as part of Canadian band YUKON BLONDE and continues to tour North America, as well as a few dates in the United Kingdom.
