CFUZ Peach City Radio is kicking off the Listen Up! Speaker Series with one of the Okanagan’s own.
Rosemary Thomson is the Music Director & Conductor of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. She has vast conducting experience from her work across the country including positions with the Calgary Philharmonic, The Winnipeg Symphony, and the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto. As well she has delighted audiences as a guest conductor and clinician from Victoria to Kingston.
Rosemary not only leads her musical teams with flair but she has a knack for engaging the audience. Listen Up! is pleased to bring Rosemary Thomson to Penticton for a public talk that will focus on creating and increasing a sense of community through the arts.
The public talk is free and will take place at 7pm in the Shatford Centre at 760 Main Street, Penticton.
